Wynlen House Learning Centre has a series of on-farm workshops, on-line short courses, and mini-guides for growing just about anything edible in cool climate Australia. These are designed to show you how to grow garlic, to grow vegetables all year around, and to raise small, farm animals successfully.
The first of the online courses is "How to Grow Garlic in Australia's suitable Climate Zones" This is a comprehensive course and has been developed for the micro or small commercial grower looking to make a profit from their efforts.
We also have a shorter course for the home grower which makes it very easy to start growing delicious garlic for friends and family. Its coming soon.
Bronwyn Richards and Helen Lynch, of Wynlen House, conveners of the Braidwood Garlic Growers Group and long term garlic growers, are your facilitators and will be online with you while you learn. They share their expertise and experience in garlic growing and encourage you to interact with fellow growers online so that you can start to grow garlic and apply what you learn to your own growing conditions.
Hands on learning can really spark your enthusiasm for growing produce and help you imagine how your micro farm or backyard could be transformed into a productive enterprise or just a rewarding hobby that can involve the whole family. Growing Vegetables in a Cool Climate and Raising Small Farm Animals Organically are both offered as day workshops in July and March each year.

We also have a series of mini guides to make it easy to grow vegetables all year round in cool climate Australia. The first mini-guide is, Pumpkin & Squash: How to Grow, harvest and cure them. These comprehensive "How To" Guides are designed to show you how to grow almost any vegetable in the cool climate zones in Australian and New Zealand including big towns like Canberra, Bathurst, Orange, Wagga Wagga, and Cooma.

Our On-Farm workshops are opportunities to learn first hand from the regions most successful and long serving market Gardeners and small farmers. Get down among the veggies, the poultry and the occasional pig and learn how to create the urban micro farm in your own backyard for fun or profit.
